This wonderful shake/smoothie is simply a pleasure to have no matter the season of the year or time in the day. It feels so decadent yet the ingredients are wholesome and still healthy.
Ingredients: (1 serving)
1 large banana (ideally cold or frozen)
2-4 dates (you can use sugar or a different sweetener if you wish)
1 tbs of peanut butter
1,5 cup of hazelnut milk (or any plant-based milk)
1 - 2 tbs of cocoa powder
* few ice cubes if you wish to have a cold drink and larger volume for the same calories
Steps:
Mix your hazelnut milk with the cocoa powder.
Add all other ingredients.
Mix in a blender (I use nutribullet) for about 20 seconds.
Enjoy.
* If you wish your drink to be organic, choose organic ingredients in your shop. If they are overpackaged with a plastic try to find a less packaged item even if not organic (fair trade is always a good thing to look out for, too).
